Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Nice little find a little over a mile off the highway. This is a small diner with good food and excellent service! Look for it on the left hand side of Main Street slightly before the railroad tracks. It's easy to miss."
"Cozy little diner in a small town near I-70 with friendly staff. Breakfast is served all day. Good for a stop along the highway."
"Heading through the area we decided to stop here and we were not disappointed! The small town diner feel was comforting and relaxing. I found the decor adorable and fit the feel of the place perfectly. The food was delicious and fresh and hot! Took a cinnamon roll to go and though we haven't eaten it yet, it looks delicious oh and it's huge!"
"Everything was great, the food was delicious and they were so friendly!! Best music playing as well!! Definitely stop and eat here!!"
"Sweet, nostalgic, hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop diner! Truly a great local treasure. What an excellent choice it turned out to be to stop there for a nice lunch after experiencing nearby Alwerdt's Gardens nursery. Can't wait to go back!"
"The food is always excellent. The staff are as nice as can be, and they have a wide assortment of baked goods and various other homemade treats you can purchase."
"Greeted when I walked in the door. Food was delicious. Definitely a good stop, just a bit off the interstate. Full of locals, so I knew it was gonna be good."
"Adorable place! Small inside area and all the tables were full. That’s a sign that it’s a great place to eat, but bad because the noise level was hard to carry a convo. Also, had a speaker behind my head that was playing beautiful Christian music but it was hard to hear clearly and just added to all the background noise. Next time we will sit outside if weather allows. The servers were working their butts off staying on top of the orders! No complaints there. My food was good. Probably would try something different next time. The menu had a lot of fun choices to pick from! Would go back, just not on a Saturday morning."
